Lane markers in the sky

Back when I worked 9-5, I used to sit on my third floor porch and watch the sun set over the trees and houses to the west.

I always loved watching jets mark the sky with their contrails, like moments frozen in a time lapse photographer's lense. My enjoyment of those little white fingers in the heavens lasted until my roommate told me that the contrail is actually pollution.

Sometimes, the less you know about something, the easier it is to be happy about it.

And to further both your education and potential dismay about contrails... they have been proven to expand from "little white fingers" to cloud masses hundreds of miles long. In fact the larger white clouds in the picture look like older contrails turning into larger cloud masses...

in fact, scientists believe the contrails contribute to global climate change, especially due to reflectivity of heat emissions at night and in winter

Actually, it's called a Chemtrail - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemtrail_theory

It's just one more way big brother is seeding the atmosphere to make me loose hair on the top of my head and grow it on my back.

I'm sure the aliens kept in Area 51 had something to do with this.

Interesting link on chemtrails....

My first brush with this was about 8 years ago when a NASA scientist reported it at an aviation environmental meeting - stating merely that they had witnessed obvious patterns of aircraft contrails (ie natural engine exhaust, pollution) turning into serious cloud mass. He stated the patterns, sizes, frequencies varied greatly due to climate/location/altitude etc but that is was definitely occuring. He also stated NASA was making no claims to their impacts or anything (global warming etc), only that aircraft exhaust is definitely creating new cloud masses...

But I like the alien theories more, very tangible and very compelling!
