Rest In Peace Mix Tape (1980-2006)

Officials say the cause of death appears to be neglect, though they have not ruled out foul play. Police have identified Apple CEO Steve Jobs as a "person of interest" in the case.
The Mix Tape has no surviving relatives. His parents, Eight Track and Beta Tape, died when he was a child.

What I fondly remember about good ol' Mix was his hardware. The little screws in his corners that used to rattle around as I held up my tape with pride, shaking it to the music heavens and exclaiming, "Haza! a mix well made..."
/sigh. i still use mix tapes. lots of 'em. altho, my walkman is dying. i suppose you're right about the death of mixtapes...or just tapes in general.
